There's a lot of Free Companies out there and they all have different play styles. Role-Playing, Mercenaries, Hard-core/Endgame, Social, Casual, etc. So here we explain what kind of company Shadow Ravenloft is, what are expected of members who want to join it, and how it is operated.

First off to start with. Our Company falls in the lines of casual players that does a bit of end game stuff. We are not hardcore or l33t, nor do we try to act like it. Our members are friendly, laid back and enjoy doing things when the opportunity presents itself. Anyone wishing to become a member must follow the Company Rules as well as the other aspects of the Company. Which all in itself is not burdensome or hard to do at all. The Company's objective is to create a fun community of players within it and build it's members up. So we are always looking for like minded people who like doing things not for themselves, but rather for the fun of things and working as a team/group. So what are expected from our members both new and old? Asides from following the company rules and conduct, all members are expected to keep themselves updated here or on the forums. That's all there is to be expected. If you're here keeping updated and following the rules everything else falls in place very easily.

So how does the Company operate? Being a mix of casual and endgame it brings to question how things are done in the Company especially regarding events. To start off every member is asked to have a Main and Secondary job. These 2 jobs are what the company will use you on to the best of it's ability during events or other things. The jobs can range from DoL/H to DoW/M or a mix of the two. So it's entirely up to the member what job they want to be used on and it's the Company job to use those members on that job during events and help them gear up those jobs better. So really it goes hand in hand nicely and there is no need for members to worry about lootwhores during events. Event rules are set up to prevent such things.

Regarding events, there is a great variety. Some are for the entire day and some are for specific times only. Members do not have to participate in all of the events but 100% participation is greatly appreciated. Since events cannot happen if people do not do them right? Events can be something as simple as doing a map run with FC members, to doing atma book dungeons all day long for those that need, or even fun things like glamour contests to chocobo/mount racing. Members are free to come up with events of their own too, usually events such as races/contests are made up by other members with prizes involved for winning participants.

The last aspect of Company operations is how it is funded. We do not sell wins for primals/coil turns, that is not our style. Funds are purely made up by the Company members working together as a team. Funds require everyone's part to play on and there are three ways we fund our company. Donations from players, Company events, and assigning members to certain tasks so we can obtain/sell certain items on the MB. Simple isn't it?
